Excellent location for exploring the nearby coastal area. Convenient facilities in the kitchen, including a good range of cooking equipment and china. Quiet surroundings ensure a peaceful stay.

Some important details were not properly disclosed - adjoining bedrooms and steep stairs. Grubby decoration with mold in some areas.

We had such a fantastic stay at this lovely characterful cottage! It was excellently equipped and full of charm. the location was perfect for us as bike riders, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful coastal areas of Aldeburgh, Thorpness, Orford, Snape, and Southwold. the secure garden was a great feature, especially since we brought our dog with us. the real fireplace added a cozy touch, and the beds were incredibly comfy with lovely clean bedding. We especially appreciated the recommendation for the Parrott & Punchbowl pub, which was a short 15-minute walk away and served delicious food in a casual setting. We highly recommend trying the lamp chop and sea bass - they were amazing!

We felt extremely lucky to have found this hidden gem with no complaints whatsoever. It provided us with the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy our time, especially considering that I arrived already feeling ill.

Loved the homely and private atmosphere of the cottage. It was clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable stay. The well-equipped kitchen was a bonus, allowing us to cook our own meals during our weekend getaway.- Convenient location with a friendly pub just across the road, perfect for enjoying a drink or two.

The stairs were quite tricky to navigate, especially in the dark or after a glass of wine. It might be challenging for older or less mobile guests.

Thimble Cottage was a charming, well-equipped and stress-free haven. Its olde worlde charm and modern conveniences made for a good stay. Situated near the beautiful Suffolk coast, it provided the perfect base to explore the area. The secure garden was an added bonus.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The charming Thimble Cottage was a delightful place to stay. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the well-appointed kitchen and the great shower. The wood burner in the sitting room added a cozy touch to my evenings. Despite a minor issue with the cooker on the first night, the problem was quickly resolved by the time I returned from the beach. The cottage's central location made it the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. Additionally, the cottage offered a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, allowing for a relaxing getaway.

Garden views were splendid, but it wasn't just any old garden view. It was like staring into a Botticelli painting, with blossoms delicately placed as if by a master artist. I half-expected to see little cherubs frolicking amongst the flowers, playing tiny trumpets. It was truly enchanting.

    Stairs were precarious.
